Dilbert is a very lovable male rottweiler, who came to be part of our family in summer 2005. He will be 2 on 11th May, but he is still quite puppy-like. He with his ever-wagging tail gave a reason and a name to this blog. Dilbert loves deeply all people. Come to visit us and we guarantee a never-ending flow of kisses 
Dilbert is social and very interested in other dogs. He is lively and playful outside and quite calm inside. To quote one of our neighbours – he is “full of positive energy” and his behaviour often demonstrates something that I call “explosive love”.
It is extreamly rewarding but also quite challenging to work with Dilbert because of his prey instinct and fighting drive. Now that we have made some real progress with Dilbert´s basic obediance during this winter, I am training Dilbert for obediance test in beginner class. Kalle is training him for search and rescue at VSPK (Varsinais-Suomen Pelastukoirat ry). What comes to rottweilers and agility, many might say they are not a good compination, but in May we will indeed start on an agility course – just for fun
During these 2 years that Dilbert has been with us, I have learned something very profound about unconditional love and acceptance. Little did I know about it before our Darling Dilbert came into our life. Thank you Darling Dilbert for being such an uplifting and encouraging friend.
